Description
On Fields of Fury is a dramatic re-creation, largely in the words of participants, of Grant’s desperate attempt in May through June of 1864 to end the Civil War. It began with an all-out assault by Grant’s Army of the Potomac against Lee in the wilderness in Virginia in May and ended before Petersburg in July in the Union defeat at the Crater.
